All software that is needed for our BYOD Program is provided free by the department. Details on how you can access and download the software can be found below.
Internet Browsers
We will use the internet and many online applications in our BYOD Classrooms. We recommend that students install two browsers. many browser-based applications as possible, however, the following software is required for successful digital learning in our BYOD Program.
- Primary Browser - Google Chrome
- Secondary Browser
- Windows Device – Edge Browser
- Apple device – Safari Browser
Office 365
All students have access to install Office 365 software on 5 laptops and desktops, and 5 Mobile devices. It is best to download and install these software applications while at home.
Windows and Apple Laptops and Desktops
- Open the internet and go to office.com
- Sign in to office.com with school email (user.name@education.nsw.gov.au) and password
- Choose the ‘install’ option in top right hand area of the webpage
iPads and Tablets
Install the following Office Apps
- Office 365
- Office Word
- Office Excel
- Office PowerPoint
- Office Teams
When using the apps and sign in is prompted, use your school email (user.name@education.nsw.gov.au) and password.
