Accessing NESA Student Online site

Students in Years 10, 11 and 12 need to create a NESA account to gain access to their student online account. The online NESA account allows students to access certificates, results and information concerning courses studied from Years 10 to the HSC. The account is used to access Certificates such as Record of Student Achievement (ROSA), Higher School Certificate (HSC) and grades such as HSC results, or Minimum Standards, it also provides study information and Examination timetables.

How to log on.

Open the NESA student’s online site: https://studentsonline.nesa.nsw.edu.au/

·         The login section has an “activate your account now” link; use this when first accessing the site.

·         Select Tomaree High from the drop down menu, then fill in your student details and submit

·         A notification stating your NESA number will appear, this number is vitally important as it will provide access to the account and it will be used to submit any material for the HSC. Save it somewhere that is safe and readily available.

Student DEC email accounts are in the form- firstname.lastname.possiblyanumber@education.nsw.gov.au

and the password is the same one that is used to access school computers.

·         Having activated account via the email you will be automatically redirected to Students NESA online account where you will be asked to enter personal NESA number and then you will set a 6 digit pin.

The NESA number and created pin will now be used to login to Students Online in future.

·         Suggestions- now that you are on the account go to the right hand side of site page to “students details” and change the email account to one that you regularly use and also enter a mobile phone number. These account are used deliver important HSC information such as ROSA certificates, HSC results and will link to University applications.
