P&C MEETINGS
Meetings are held at 6:15pm on the last Wednesday of every month in the School Staff Common Room feel free to just come along.
Our meetings are informal and allow the opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues that may be important to you and others.
It is also a good place to meet other parents and if you wish, find ways to get involved with school improvement teams; financial and policy committees; selection and interviewing of teachers or social event organizing.
- Tomaree High School Parent Body promotes the interests of our students and assists the school's Executive and teaching staff to further develop and improve the school through close cooperation and positive community support.
- Our Principal, Sue Xenos, is highly supportive of our body and attends meetings, providing us with a report on current school events and issues affecting the school and students. It is here you can learn about the education program, school policy, administration and school activities. Guest speakers are also invited from time to time to discuss various issues which concern parents, from education and student welfare to uniforms and photography.
- Each year, we provide financial awards for academic achievement to help encourage students to strive toward their future goals. These are funded through our annual major fundraising event.
- So . . . please join us, get involved and have your say about issues affecting our school and our children's education.
The Federation of Parents and Citizens' Associations of New South Wales is committed to a free public education system which is open to all people, irrespective of culture, gender, academic ability and socio-economic class and empowers students to control their own lives and be contributing members of society.
