Since 2003 Tomaree High School has officially celebrated the "Real Futures" program with a Charter Signing Ceremony. The ceremony is a significant event, especially for the Year 10 students who sign a Charter that states:
"I willingly commit myself to participate in the ‘Real Futures Project' which aims to place every Year 10 student in further education, training or employment by the 31st March (the following year)"
The Charter Signing also involves Year 10 students from St Phillips Christian College who are also involved in the Real Futures Program.
