Our Local Area

Welcome To The Tomaree Peninsula

The most easterly peninsula, Tomaree is characterised by pristine waterways, spectacular scenery, unspoilt national parks and abundant wildlife.

The adjoining Tilligerry peninsula is best known for its koala population, idyllic waterfront and peaceful atmosphere.

The famous Stockton Beach sand dunes known as the Golden Bight extends 32km south from the Tomaree Peninsula to the mouth of the Hunter River at Newcastle. The Pacific Highway provides a gateway to Port Stephens passing through the main township of Raymond Terrace. To the west lies the picturesque rural hinterland.
