Uniform
Expected Standard of Dress
At Tomaree High School the expectation is that students wear school uniform during school hours, while travelling to and from school, and when engaged in school activities out of school hours.
Wearing school uniform:
- promotes a sense of belonging for students.
- creates a positive identity for the school community.
- contributes to the personal safety of students by allowing easier recognition of students inside the school and in the community.
- is endorsed by our student and parent representative bodies and the NSW Department of Education.
If your child is unable to wear school uniform to school:
- students are required to bring a signed note from a parent/carer explaining the issue and requesting consideration for a nominated period.
- every effort will be made to provide a replacement uniform.
Tomaree High School uniform can be purchased from LOWES at Salamander Bay Square.
THS Uniform items
Tomaree High School in consultation with the P&C and student body, reviewed the school uniform for 2023. As a result, grey shorts have been phased out of the uniform at Tomaree High School.
Navy blue shorts and pants have replaced grey shorts and pants.
As part of the uniform review, THS uniform items have landed and are available to purchase from the school office.
Sun safe
We encourage students to be sun safe by wearing hats, sunglasses and sunscreen at appropriate times.
