Tomaree High School provides a comprehensive education to the youth of the Tomaree Peninsula where emphasis is placed on student welfare, academic achievement, sporting and social development, and use of technology in learning in an ordered student friendly environment.
Tomaree High is a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) school. PBL is a school-wide behaviour initiative which employs a whole school systems approach to address problem behaviour and reduce its effect on student outcomes, and on the school community as a whole. PBL encourages positive behaviour from students, which has been shown to improve their self-concept and motivation to learn.
