Tomaree High School is seeking a Technical Support Officer to join the team. Immediate start is available through till the end of the year, with view of long-term extension for the right candidate.
Ideally you will have proven experience and/or tertiary qualifications in the relevant area. However, this position does not require formal qualifications.
Our Technical Support Officer plays an important role in operations of Tomaree High School. The position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support school-based staff with technology related issues using defined processes
Checking reported faults, solving minor operating problems and escalating significant issues for action
Load basic software and test to ensure it is operating to specification
Manage conflicting priorities
Develop positive working relationships
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hardware and associated equipment
This position requires a person who is flexible, can manage their time effectively and work with minimal supervision.
Hours: 35 hours per week including school holidays, with the option to accrue flextime. Four weeks annual leave.
Salary: $66,928 - $72,077
This a child related position. The successful applicant must have a current paid WWCC and meet the Department of Education’s double vaccination requirements. If you are invited to interview you must have proof of both and undertake a Criminal Record check.
