🏄♂️🏄♂️🏄♂️ Year 10 student, Eden Hasson made his first trip to South America proudly wearing the green and gold to represent Australia in the International Surfing Associations World Junior Surfing Championship in El Salvador. Amazing achievement for a 16 year old. 🤩
Eden traveled solo with other Australian teammates and a large crew of support staff under the National High Performance Program for Surfing Australia.
The Surfing Australia National High Performance Program (SA HPP) purpose is to support our Australian athletes to become the world’s best surfers and people.
The team of 12 Aussie junior athletes proudly returned home with a Silver team medal. 🤩
The Aussie Irukandjis achieved huge individual results between the 16's and 18's to contribute to the team's overall success.
Eden, Tomaree High School is behind you and your dedication to your sport! This is a major milestone from a micro grom who took his first Surf Trip to the Maldives at age 11 to the ISA World Championships in El Salvador! 'Guau!'
Shout out to Eden's family and friends who support, commit and make it happen! 🥰
